Brewery News
All local breweries are now well prepared for the Christmas period with Christmas Specials waiting to hit the streets – we wish them all a Very Merry Christmas time! A planning application was submitted by Bulletproof Brewing Co to open a bar on Mutley Plain, in the former Cat Sanctuary charity shop. It is unclear if the premises will also house the brewing equipment. And Steel Brew Co will be housed in Melville Building, Royal William Yard, when their new premises open (hopefully by the end of January 2020 in both instances). Volunteers are required for the position of BLO for Anchor House, Billy Ruffian’s, Bulletproof and Steel Brew Co, as well as Ivybridge. If you would like to volunteer, please email the South West Brewery Liaison Coordinator, Ian (Dickie) Dickinson, on ku.gro.armac.nosiailyrewerb@rotanidrooc.tsewhtuos with your name, CAMRA membership number, and the position(s) you are volunteering for. And finally, Salcombe Brewery will be launching a new beer in January 2020, called Salcombe Lite. As the name suggests, it will be a refreshing 2.5% ABV hoppy beer, just right for the new year!
Plymouth CAMRA would like to wish all new publicans, and brewers, all the very best in their new ventures!
