The following pub information has been reported at the Branch social meeting on Wednesday 1 July 2015.

The following pubs offer discounts to card-carrying CAMRA members: Brass Monkey, Royal Parade; Dolphin Hotel, Barbican; Fisherman's Arms, Barbican; Fortescue, Mutley Plain; Golden Hind, Mannamead; Horse and Groom, Bittaford; Nowhere Inn, City Centre; Porters, Barbican; Stoke Inn, Stoke; Tamar, Crownhill; Union Inn, Plympton; Who'd Have Thought It, Milton Coombe; and all five JDW pubs accept members' vouchers: Britannia Inn, Milehouse; Gog and Magog, Barbican; Mannamead, Mutley; Stannary Court, Plympton; & Union Rooms, City Centre. Details of the discounts vary from pub to pub and are at the discretion of the individual pub, or may be withdrawn at any time without notice.

Fisherman's Arms, Barbican, has joined the CAMRA Discount Scheme; Cock 'n' Bull, Stonehouse, has been reopened under its' former name, Famous Firkin; Royal Albert Bridge Inn, Saltash Passage, will reopen next week after refurbishment; Bridge Inn, Ivybridge, still has a sign saying it will reopen in "summer" 2015 as the Treyhill Bar & Grill, although there is very little evidence of any work going on; Ordulph Arms, Tavistock, is under new management - we wish the new people well in their new venture; Brown's Hotel, Tavistock, is to reopen on Tuesday 21 July as the Queen's Head Hotel, part of JD Wethersoon hotel group; Newmarket Tavern, City Centre, will have a new manager next Monday - good luck, Audrey; Phil is coming back from his travels to the Nowhere Inn soon, and Steph will be stepping down (we would like to wish her all the very best for the future - we will miss her); Eddystone Inn, Heybrook Bay, will reopen next week - we would like to wish all new licensees good luck in their new ventures.
