The pub closed on 17th April 2022. Formally the Ordulph Arms, this pub has had several incarnations in recent years, including a name change to the Explorer (being a part of the Venue Club next door), the Craft Emporium and more recently as Drake's Wine Bar & Cafe.

No outstanding planning applications have been found (last one 1765/20/LBC, to rebuild rear and side wall of listed building). The pubs future remains uncertain in March 2024.
