Leaping Salmon InnWhitchurch Road
Completely refurbished by its local owners and saved from redevelopment. A Dartmoor village pub, set close to the ancient bridge over the River Walkham, serving constantly changing ales from local breweries. A corner room of the pub also serves as a cafe. All have various solid floors, simple decoration and furnishings, giving a modern but in keeping feel. The main bar, cafe and toilets can be reached by wheel chair from the car park at the rear. Accommodation and a function room are available. The village is served by the regular Tavistock-Plymouth services on the main A386, approx. a 15 minute walk.
