A non-ostentatious single room pub situated in the ancient stannary town of Plympton. The building, which is adjacent to the guildhall, was formally the holding cells and is reputed to be haunted. The real fire gives a cosy atmosphere to an unspoilt pub where dogs are welcome. Live music is held each Sunday evening, and a quiz night on Monday evenings. Sadly, the pub closed on Wednesday 2 March 2016 and was converted to residential use by late 2017.
