Local Beer Festivals
It’s with great pleasure we announce that the Exeter & East Devon CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) branch will be holding its
36th Exeter Festival of Beer, 2026 at the Exeter Corn Exchange Market Street Exeter, EX1 1BW on:
Thursday 15th Jan 16:00 to 22:00 Friday 16th Jan 11:00 to 22.00 Saturday 17th Jan 11:00 to 22.00
I’m pleased to say that 2025’s festival was very successful and we have therefore increased the beers to 70 casks. There will also be 9 ciders and 1 Perry.
Advance tickets will be available online shortly. Whether it's Christmas, Birthday or just a gift, tickets make a great present. See www.exeter.camra.org.uk for more details.
The Corn Exchange which is close to the main town centre is a superb venue for this type of festival. Hot and cold food will be available with wine and spirits being offered as an alternative which will be sold behind the Corn Exchange bar. In addition to all these lovely beverages, we will have games, tombola and products.
Tutored Tasting sessions Last year we had “Les Grandes Bières de Wallonie” (or Great Wallonian ales) and “Belgium in Winter”, as well as "Exploring the world of the Artisan cidermaker" tutored cider tasting session. In 2026 we will again have two Beer sessions and one for Cider, as described below.
These highly sought-after tutored tasting sessions are ticket-only events; details can be found on our website when tickets go on sale early in November.
Our breweries, pubs and generally the hospitality industry are still suffering. Supporting CAMRA helps us help them. So please come along to the festival, try the different drinks and styles, and have a good time. Drinking responsibly of course.
Hope to see you there.
