Campaign for Real Ale

Falmouth Pub Trail 2021

11:00 Monday 11 – 22:30 Sunday 24 October 2021

Cornwall CAMRA have got together with 24 pubs in and around the town to try and promote pub visits after a very difficult 18 month trading period. The Pub Trails are planned to start from Monday 11th October 2021 and will run until Sunday 24th October.

The pub trails are split up into four trails, each consisting of six pubs.

The aim of this pubs-based festival is to promote and support pubs and bars in the town which sell real ale and real cider in the post Lockdown period. After months of enforced closures and the implementation of social distancing measures, this has resulted in reduced footfall and economic concerns for the Hospitality Industry in general. We are sure you will agree that this is a worthy objective, and something to look forward to!

The routes mostly radiate out from ‘The Moor’ in Falmouth and encompass central, well-known pubs, those in the main street and those in the quieter back streets which may be less familiar to visitors to the town.

There are no ‘rules’ or ‘rewards’ for this event; a trail can be followed in full, or venues from different trails can be ‘mixed and matched’ if you wish. Hopefully, the descriptions and symbols on the leaflet will help you in your choice of pubs to visit!

Each venue has been invited to organise and promote pub-based events of their own during the festival fortnight if they wish to add to the fun! You are also encouraged to vote for your ‘beer/cider of the festival’ if you wish! Whatever you choose, please drink responsibly.
