The Duke of York, also in Tavistock has a new licensee and has been renamed and rebranded as Bitter & Twisted, “a craft and food bar”. It is also being painted outside. Horse & Groom, Bittaford, will be reopening in April, but without a marque because of unforeseen prohibitive insurance costs. There will still be some seating outside under cover. Stannary Brewery offered 15% discount during January, whilst Noss Beer Works offered a 25% discount during January. Steel Brew Co, of Royal William Yard, may be relocating. Tuckers Maltings, Newton Abbot, has been booked for SIBA South West Maltings Beer Festival 2021, due to take place from Thursday 30th September until Saturday 2nd October 2021.
